Decorate the Stave of the Marabou Fan to Make More Attractive


You may wish to make your Marabou fan more decorative and attractive. You can use different kinds of gems for this purpose and do it yourself by following a few simple steps. Start with cleaning the inlay homes for the rhinestone if the fan stave has specific indentations. Use isopropyl alcohol for thorough cleaning and a dry cotton swap. Wipe away any residue on it using a clean and dry rag. Such cleaning is necessary to prevent any debris from interfering with the glue.

Attach the Stones
Now you will have to attach the stones to the indentations on the stave or on general areas if it does not have any such indentations. Apply glue at the back of each gem by using a toothpick. Use tweezers to hold the stones when you apply the glue. You can use any super glue but a five minute epoxy is usually recommended. Fix these stones to the Marabou fan stave placing the glued side on the cleaned inlays. Hold and press it gently down till the glue is dry to secure the gem.

Linking And Arranging
You will have to link the staves of the boa fans together. Slide a washer on a bolt and slip it all to the bolt head that should fit perfectly with the fan stave. Insert this bolt to the single hole at the base of the stave. Arrange the stave so that the rhinestones and feathers face up. If there is any gap between, use multiple washers. Slip the locking nut to the bolt to finish it up.
